Buzz Marketing

by admin on December 8, 2009

Buzz marketing is a common phrase among bloggers who write paid posts and write product reviews. Create buzz by using word of mouth techniques on blogs and by using Social Networking Sites.  Write about a brand as a group and use similar keywords and phrases. Reach the top rankings of Google when searching for that brand.

There’s no need to be sneaky about what you’re doing. As of December 1st, the FTC has created regulations about sponsored and compensated posts. Your paid post should state that it is paid. Have a Disclosure Policy that outlines what you do as a blogger when you accept sponsored posts. When you are paid to buzz a product then disclose that you opinions are your own.

Buzz marketing is also taken to Social Networking Sites. When a blogger has written a post, it is often posted to Twitter and Facebook. It can be promoted by others so the buzz continues. When there is a group of bloggers utilizing buzz marketing about the same brand, the outcome can be outstanding.

Buzz marketing can not be done alone. It is done with a group of bloggers. They do not need to link to each other to get return on their efforts, but linking can increase traffic and Google Ranking.
