Writing about iPod apps and the best Spring Break vacations, your niche is either high school or college students. Be sure to know the hot topics for the age group you are trying to reach. Then you can run with your advertising and affiliate links. Stay active in forums for the student group you are trying to reach, follow them on Twitter, read about them in the news, etc. College Scholarships are hot for high school students, text books for college students, books about dating for high school students and sports, toys and games for elementary students.
